This embeddable web application allows potential customers to select the characteristics of the apartment from options predefined by the developer, for example: what style, what equipment or what kind of heating system the apartment should have.

About the client

Studio Arkitekter is an award-winning interior design studio operating this software in the Hungarian real estate development market. They find it extremely helpful during the initial stages of interior design, as it enables them to efficiently lead their clients through the design process.

The project

We began developing this software in 2021 at the request of our Hungarian partner the Studio Arkitekter. The goal was to create a tool that would facilitate client consultations necessary during the design process, and to make it easier to showcase the various style and furnishing options to their clients. Early in the development phase, our Norwegian partner, the Lightroom Studio also joined the project, making it a successful collaboration carried out by the three of us. Lightroom Studio offers it as an additional service to their clients alongside the sale of properties. The development took 3 months.

Saving customer choices

The user's selections are saved in local storage, so if they return to the page, their choices are retained. On the summary page, there is a QR code that copies the selected options into the URL, allowing the customer to email their choices to themselves or a friend using the QR code.

Technology

The software uses Node.js on the server side, MongoDB for database management, GraphQL for API communication, and ReactJS for the user interface. This modern, scalable, and flexible technology stack ensures smooth operation and an excellent user experience.

This software consists of two parts.

A client-side application that can be embedded into sales websites, developed in ReactJs.

A framework consisting of a backend and client that operates the editor. After logging in, an embeddable configurator can be created.
