The project

This collaboration began in 2017, when we were able to develop a web portal that met the client's needs at the time within approximately 6 months. Over the next 5 years, we developed it further - not continuously, but as tasks emerged, we added functions to the program. After this, in 2023, we began rewriting the entire system. The development period was 12 months, but by January 2024, the service was able to launch with this new portal. The now operating portal is therefore 1 year of development work, in addition to the fact that in the past we already had a lot of experience and got to know the market needs and their implementation possibilities. In the absence of the previous 5 years of experience, it will probably take much more time to develop such a complex solution. Long-term cooperation and established mutual trust led this project to success.

Technology

The software uses Node.js on the server side, MongoDB for database management, GraphQL for API communication, and ReactJS for the user interface. This modern, scalable, and flexible technology stack ensures smooth operation and an excellent user experience.

This software consists of three parts.

There is a package that creates the user interface, which we wrote in ReactJS. It's a customizable system into which we can adapt the design using SCSS.

There is a backend that executes the business logic, operates the API, and runs services for authentication, static files, credit card payments - and many other services.

And there is a client - a website - whose appearance is built from the UI elements and can perform data queries and the operations necessary for modifications by connecting to the backend through the API.
